Blank Paper Template

A template of the 7.5" x 7.5" image area used for planning the design of your square.

Pre-printed Paper Template

A paper template with suggested design elements (pre-selected by you) is a less intimidating starting point for those who claim they "can't draw a line to save their lives". Trace and color the design "as is" or use it as a basis for a more elaborate creation.

Practice Fabric

A small piece of the Faux-Silk fabric, otherwise known as "the anxiety pad" that allows each guest to experiment with the markers and get a feel for the process before actually sketching and coloring on the Fabric Square itself.

Fabric Square

A 10" x 10" square-with a 7.5" x 7.5" image area outlined-made of luxurious Faux-Silk fabric that looks and feels like silk, but offers the durability and ease-of-care of polyester. This is the fabric on which your guests will trace and color their final designs.

The Marvy� Fabric Markers

Although these professional-quality markers are not included in your kit, they can be purchased separately from us. (Broad-Point at $2.60 each and Fine-Point markers at $2.00 each) Marvy markers are made with permanent, acid-free, nontoxic dyes for highest quality results on our Faux-Silk quilt squares.

The letter instructs selected guests as to how they can submit traditional and/or digital photos for best results. You will receive one letter for half the squares in your quilt.

The Quilt Chart & Numbered Labels

Once you've collected all the decorated squares and photographs from your guests, arrange them to your liking, then stick a Numbered Label onto the center of each Fabric Square and the back of each photo to indicate its position according to the Quilt Chart provided. You can also provide special cropping or image editing instructions for each photo. We will scan the images and then print them on fabric.

The Photo Wizard

For those computer-savvy individuals who can do their own high-resolution image scanning and editing, we offer a simple tool for uploading images directly to us. For best quality, digital images must be 2250 pixels by 2250 pixels, 300 dpi resolution and in JPEG file format.
